1. Agreement
By downloading or using Budgets ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These terms are between you and Grow With Money Plant ("we", "us"). Contact: growwithmoneyplant+support@gmail.com.
2. What Budgets is — and what it is not
Budgets is a personal expense and budget tracking tool. You enter your own financial records and the app organises, summarises and analyses them.
Budgets is not a financial adviser, a bank, or a payment service.
- It does not connect to your bank accounts.
- It cannot move, hold, send or receive money.
- Its insights, forecasts and suggestions are calculated from the data *you*
enter, using simple arithmetic and pattern detection. They are informational only.
- Nothing in the app is financial, tax, investment or legal advice.
Decisions you make with your money remain yours. Before acting on anything significant, consult a qualified professional.
3. Your account
- You must provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where
you live, whichever is higher.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without
permission.
4. Your data is yours
You keep all rights to the financial information you enter. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service: to store your data, sync it between your devices, and display it back to you. Nothing more.
You can export your data at any time from Settings → Data Export, and delete it entirely from Settings → Delete Account.
5. Subscriptions
Budgets offers a free tier and a paid premium subscription.
Free tier
The free tier includes a limited number of custom categories, payment methods, budget categories and recurring schedules. Current limits are shown in the app and may change; if we reduce a limit, existing data you have already created is not deleted.
Premium
- Purchased and billed through Google Play. We never receive your card
details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancel any time through Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the
next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. We cannot
issue refunds for purchases made through Google Play.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of
the trial unless you cancel first.
- Prices may change. We will give notice before a change affects your renewal.
If we cannot verify a purchase with Google, premium features may not unlock. If this happens, contact us with your order number.
6. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app to obtain premium features
without paying.
- Use the app to store unlawful content.
- Interfere with, overload or probe our infrastructure, or use automated systems
to access the service beyond normal app usage.
- Resell or redistribute the app or its content.
We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these terms.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Budgets working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app depends on third parties (hosting, Google Play, Google Sign-In) whose outages are outside our control.
Keep your own backups. The app can export your full data; we recommend doing so periodically. We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, uninstalling the app, loss of device access, or a third-party outage.
Your data syncs when you are online. Offline changes are kept on your device and sent when you reconnect.
8. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.
We do not warrant that calculations, forecasts, categorisations or insights are error-free or suitable for any particular decision. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, or financial decisions made using the app.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you — including, in some jurisdictions, your statutory consumer rights.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be notified in the app. Continuing to use Budgets after a change means you accept it. If you do not accept, stop using the app and delete your account.
11. Termination
You may stop using Budgets at any time and delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, or if required by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Grow With Money Plant operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you stronger rights, those rights are unaffected.
